How can I place an order with Great Rate Print?

-Select the product you wish from the options down the top left hand side of the page – Then select size, Paper, Sides to be printed and quantity. You will then be asked to either upload your own artwork or ask us to design the artwork for you. Then click on “Order Now”
-Follow the instructions and ‘Place Order’. You will then be asked to pay for your job.
-After the job is paid, you will receive a confirmation email and the job reference number that the job is placed successfully.
-Please use that job reference number for all the communication with Great Rate Print regarding that job.
-If you have any difficulties, please let us know to orders@greatrateprint.co.uk

How can I upload the artwork?

You will see the artwork upload on the product you are trying to order, should you not have your own artwork ‘Request Design’ check box is also available.

How do I supply my own artwork?

If you are uploading artwork, please ensure your files meet the following guidelines to ensure correct printing.
ARTWORK FORMAT
Your artwork needs be saved and sent to us via the UPLOAD ARTWORK in a PDF file only.
COLOURS
All colours need to be set to CMYK. If there are any Spot colours in the artwork, it will be converted to CMYK.
RGB is not an acceptable printing format.
RESOLUTION.
When supplying images and logos, please ensure they are scanned to a minimum 300 dpi when at 100%, otherwise quality may be compromised.
FONTS EMBEDDED
All fonts need to be embedded when sending artwork. If you are not sure on how to do this, simply google – How do I embed fonts in a PDF file? You will find an easy to follow guide to embedding fonts.
BLEED (TRIM), CUTTING & SIZE OF ARTWORK
All files need a minimum of 3mm bleed all round for cutting. This will ensure that no text or artwork is cut off.
When uploading your artwork, please ensure that it is set to the correct size. Please find below various sizes to help you when designing your print job.
A2 – 420 x 594mm (426 x 600mm including bleed)
A3 – 297 x 420mm (303 x 426mm including bleed)
A4 – 210 x 297mm (216 x 303mm including bleed)
A5 – 148 x 210mm (154 x 216mm including bleed)
A6 – 105 x 148mm (111 x 154mm including bleed)
A7 – 74 x 105mm (80 x 111mm including bleed)
Standard Business Card – 85 x 55mm (91 x 61mm including bleed)
1/3 of A4 Compliment Slip – 210 x 99mm (216 x 105mm including bleed)

How can I know about the status of the job?

You will also receive emails to let you know when your job will be delivered. You can also login  to the my account area to check the status of your order.

How long will my order take to be delivered?

If you order before 2pm on a weekday, your order will be delivered in approx,
Leaflets/flyers – 3-4 working days
Brochures – 5-7 working days
Business cards – 3-4 working days
Letterheads/Compliment Slips – 5-6 working days
Posters – 3-4 working days

I’m a trade printer, can you deliver the jobs with plain labels on?

Yes, we can send jobs with plain labels without any Great Rate Print branding on as per a request. This means, if you are a trade printer and would like to take advantage of our amazing low rates, we can send print jobs direct to your client without them ever knowing it’s come from us. Please note:  We will NOT contact any trade printer’s customers.

How do I know my payment is safe?

We take online payment security extremely serious. Please rest assured, all card payments are always safe and secure as we use World Pay, the UK’s leading payment provider and the preferred choice of NatWest Bank. We’re also registered with The Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard, which is a set of requirements designed to ensure that ALL companies that process, store or transmit credit card information, maintain a secure environment.
Essentially any merchant that has a Merchant ID (MID).
